Cart of Sorgum
This picture was taken at Slate Run Historical farm in Central Ohio. It was right around harvest time and this cart was sitting in the barn just in the light. The colors immediately caught my attention.
Cracked Egg Shell
This was one of the easter eggs my nieces made one year. This one had been dropped on the deck and had an awesome texture. The weatherd pressure treated lumber also helped to make the colors pop which is why it caught my eye.
Smoked Meats
This is another picture from Slate Run Historical farm. The picture was taken mid summer they were in the process of smoking hams and various other meats to preserve them for the coming months.
Inky Cap
We found this mushroom today while walking some trails at a local park. I honestly know very little about mushrooms but did a little reading on this one. What I foun interesting is that this mushroom is poisonous if consumed with alcohol.
